Stupid boy cats.
I hope he enjoyed his day away.

I can't find my Moe.
I am very, very stressed out. He's my baby. He's been gone all day. I've resorted to all of the tricks to get him to run to the door. I've gone out front and out back about a gazillion times and called him. He's not coming.
I can't lose my baby. I just - - can't.
If you know me, you know that my cats are the end all be all to me. And he's not here.
*sniffle*
I'm going to go call him again.

Do you want to know what a rebel I am?
I just did a load of darks and whites together in the washing machine.
*gasp*
It felt good to be crazy.
*giggle*

While I'm in a foul mood...
Have you ever wished you could just magic erase people from your life?
(Not my kids!!! They are irritating me, but I want to keep them.)
It's just that, well, some people just suck. I'm sure some people think I suck. I guess it all evens out.

Listen Up
What you are about to hear is me evicting my children. I'm sending their butts out to the backyard and I'm putting my iPod on to clean. Before you judge me, I'll open the blinds and keep an eye on them. But I REFUSE to listen to anymore whining, screaming, not being friends, he's not sharing, crying...
Today - - I set fire to my Super Mom cape.
So if you live in my vicinity, ignore the two children fighting in my backyard. It's about time they duke it out and deal with it like little men. And don't think that because Cameron is little that he doesn't stand a chance. The little man can hold his own.
So, little boys, out. Out of my house.

No more after this...
I promise!
I really enjoyed the concert last night. They said a lot of things that I really needed to hear. Several times, it literally took my breath away.
Alyssa was saying that she really heard God telling her that hearts were heavy over church. She said that many feel "burned" by the church lately and were hurting. So many are disillusioned by religion, in general. I sat there with my mouth hung open. She talked about the church not defining our relationship with the Lord. She said that it is a church. And the "ugly" isn't what God is. Christianity isn't church. It's a relationship.
It's no secret that I've struggled lately. I've been very up and down. Just when I think I'm on track, something happens that makes me not want to be there. Yes, I know. If I'm not happy, I need to do something about it. I couldn't agree more. I just don't know what to do. I want to serve. I want to love. I want to be a part of something amazing. It's just not - - clicking. Just thinking about it overwhelms me.
Last night left me craving more of a relationship. With Him. I know that if I do that - - the rest will fall in place. It's just so hard.
My problem? I think I hold people to a higher standard than I should. When I do that, I'm only let down and disappointed. Should I really expect less from people? Really? Just to avoid disappointment? I know we are all human. And we are not perfect. But we are perfect in His eyes. We were created in HIS image. Wow.
It bothers me because I feel like all I am doing right now is letting Him down.
Please pray for His direction for me. I feel like I'm being called to something more. I just don't know what or where that "more" is right now.
Thanks for being such awesome friends/stalkers!

Take Me Out to the Ballgame!
New shoes make you jump HIGH!!
Justin's new uniform. How cool does he look?
Waiting for his turn to bat.
The Orioles won 10 - 5. Awesome. Justin got a runner out at second base. We've got that on video. He only got to bat once and they tagged him out. Bummer. It was VERY cold out there. And windy. I'm looking forward to other games with better weather.
All in all - - it was a good day.

Wanna know what sucks?
This weather and the kick-off of baseball season. The scrimmage tonight was beyond miserable. I'm not sure which level Dante would call it. It was bad. The cold wouldn't be so bad if it weren't for the wind.
Tomorrow is the big game. Right now, Justin is just worried about who is bringing the drinks. How nuts is that? He's asked twice in the last minute.
I wish my brother was here. He really wanted to see Justin play. It's gonna be a hoot, I'm sure.
Something that didn't suck tonight - - I got to see Tammy. I realized tonight just how much I missed her.
I think I'm going to hit the hay. Big day tomorrow.

Happy Day
For several reasons.
1. I threw a way tons '0 crap out of the kid's playroom. One whole trash can full.
2. The kids get to pick up lunch from one of their favorite places once per week. We hadn't gone yet this week, so today was the day. They wanted to know if it was "Happy Day" at Sonic. That translates to Happy Hour. (We have them convinced that Sonic is only open when it's happy day. Yes, we're evil.) I told them we could go. They love to rock it out with the slushes. I ordered two Wacky Packs, with slushes and I whispered, "And no toys." After throwing all that stuff away earlier, I didn't want to add to the perpetual problem. You know what? They haven't asked once about them. Awesome, huh?
3. I found out that my sister-in-law is coming into town today with my two neices and their two friends. Something about college day or something at ASU. Anyway, the youngest neice and her buddy are going with us to Justin's first t-ball game tomorrow. Boom! Babysitters for Cameron who are about as bananas about him as he is about them.
Most excellent.
Happy Day, indeed.

The job.
The mission, which I chose somewhat begrudgingly to accept, is to "clean" the kid's room today. I'm about to bring a trash can inside and say adios to a bunch of McDonald's Happy Meal CRAP! Another bag for give-a-way toys.
Why you ask? David bought a new television for their room. He hung it in the play room, which is going to be the bedroom again. I'm about to freaking clear that room out.
I'll take a before and after. Now mind you, you might not see the result today. I want to buy a new comforter and stuff. So, this may be a few days in the works.
Wish me luck. I'm going in...

Would you kill me if...
...I made this blog private? I'll approve just about anybody to read it. Almost anybody. Bwahahaha!!
There are just a few times that I really want to speak my mind and I hold back. I'm going to post a survey. Participate in it and leave a comment here if you want.
It's not a done deal. Just something I'm tossing around.
And no, Yoda, I'm not changing the address. *giggle*

Poll taken down. See comments here. I'm not going to do it. It's all good.

On no it di'int.
I just tried to change some things up and somehow deleted ALL of my links. All of them.
I. R. Pissed.
Okay. It's not the end of the world. This will give me a change to completely re-vamp things around here. So, if you want your blog linked on the right (or not linked) then comment here.
Dang it. I've got other things to do. This should *not* be a priority to me.
Ugh.
And blogger is going to be down later today.

More than fifteen.
This house is a wreck. I'm about to fix the kid's lunch, then slap on my iPod and get to work.
I don't want to stop at 15 minute intervals. It would be too distracting. But I am going to monitor my start time and stop time and let you know what all I accomplished in that time frame.
I feel the need to make this place pretty again.

Random Cell Phone Picture of the Week

The barista at Starbucks who brought sheer joy to my day yesterday.
Tall White Chocolate Mocha.
If only I'd known how nuts the rest of that day was going to be (the storm day), I'd have ordered a Venti. I think she thought I was a little crazy and somewhat stalkerish for taking her picture. I did ask her first. Thanks, Madame Barista.
Just more stuff
1. Yes, I finished cutting Cam's hair. This was actually a couple of weeks ago. His daddy had the clippers out and was about to cut his own hair. Cameron said he wanted a haircut, too. Mr. B told him to go for it. That is what you saw. We knew he was doing it. It was just too cute not to post.
2. I had to vary the menu this week. Tuesday, I had a headache and had zero desire to cook. Or to smell anything cooking in my kitchen. So - - sandwiches it was. Mr. B picked up hamburgers for the kids and I ate one of them. We had the meat loaf last night. I have to tell you, that meal *always* gets rave reviews around here. All three boys love it. It makes me smile to hear Cam say, "Ummmmmmm. Dis is so good Mommy. Mmmmmmmmmm..." The. Entire. Meal. That's right. I make an edible meat loaf.
3. I am beyond over-booked this weekend. Lots going on. Two events, of which, are baby showers. I'll be honest. I still have issues with baby showers. I love my two boys more than life itself. And - - there were baby showers for both of them. With that said, I will always be jealous of any woman who is/was able to get pregnant, by whatever means, and carry a child. I will never, ever, experience pregnancy and childbirth. I think it still stings a little. My body was not able to do what I feel like it was made to do. It's an experience, no matter how painful or ridden with morning sickness, I will never get to experience. I would love to have felt my boys growing inside me. I would give anything for that. But alas, God had other plans for us. And we are way, way blessed with our two little gifts.
4. Wow. I got on a tangent. Busy weekend. Friend coming into town, a "girly" party on Friday, Western Little League's opening day on Saturday, Barlow Girl at Paul Ann on Sunday. Just lots going on.
5. I'm not doing too good with my reading. I really want to finish The Shack. I'm barely started. I'm just not a big reader. I wonder why. I guess playing in Poker tournaments online is just more important. *eyeroll* The thing is, I totally suck at Poker.
6. I have a random cell phone picture of the week. I took it yesterday. I'll post it later. Right now, I need to take a shower and I have lots of shaving to do. Legs and arms. (Yes, I totally shave my arms, I love the smooth look! Especially as the summer approaches and I get a little color.)
7. Miss Q posted something that really struck a chord with me. I don't feel comfortable in my own body anymore. I have to do something about it. The thing is, I know what to do. I know. (Read: I don't need any exercise nazi's or suggestions about how to lose weight.) I totally know how. I just have to discipline myself to do it. I'm not joining the gym for now. Just not going to do it. I'm thinking I'm going to start using the stair climber today. We have one in our bedroom. Once the kids are settled this afternoon, I'm going to go for it. I'll let you know how it goes. I need to use the Wii Fit, too. That definitely has to wait for the kids being gone. They always want to play, too. It just isn't conducive to get out when the kids are around.
Okay. To the shower now.
Have a beautiful day.

And so it begins. Again.
I was leery about proceeding with my plans. I needed to exchange some shoes for Justin at Academy. This is my view, heading there. I called Mr. B from the parking lot and asked if I needed to go home or was it safe to proceed. It's north of us. Go ahead and go in.
I was about to pull in and park behind this fart-knocker. Exactly how many spaces do SPV's need? It irritated me. I moved to another spot.
When I got out of the store, this is what I found. Just a little rain, right? I won't melt.
(I'm quite certain I'm not made of any sugar. Just spice.)
This was taken shortly after I completely hauled arse down Southwest. Pea sized hail. This was when I began my freak-out session.
The USPS. They really do deliver under said circumstances. I didn't stop to gather my mail. It can wait.

I am now safe at home. But I'm not kidding about the freak out. Ask my mom. I was on the phone with her my whole way down Southwest. I told her I needed her to "talk me off the edge." I was driving *very fast.*
Whew.
With that - - I give you this season's first:

Anytime you see my furry friend, The Cowardly Lion, you'll know that I am skeered. He frequents my blog during storm season.
I'm not scared anymore. Just hungry. Time to fix me some lunch.

Moe - - you are grounded young man.
Cool, free fonts!
You have to see this site. I found out about this today on 2 Peas. This girl's layout is featured on the cover of the April issue of CK. It is an adorable picture. And a great layout. Look around her site and check out the free fonts she has. She can even take your own handwriting and make it into a TTF. Cool, huh?
Nagging Headache
Just an annoying one. I tried to take a nap. Do you know how hard it is to take a nap with a three year old and a five year old squealing, screaming, fighting, not being friends with each other anymore, telling on each other, etc?
Quite difficult.
I know. A nap. Some of you would kill for one. I assure you, it wasn't easy. It's one of the job perks. One I don't indulge in often. Mostly because they usually makes me feel worse.
Seriously - - "I'm telling on you." It gets SO freakin' old. I've started punishing the speaker of the phrase instead of the offender. Because usually, the offense is minor. Or, non-existent.
If they don't watch it, I'm gonna clunk their heads together as if they are Larry and Curly and I'm Moe. Then we'll see whose head hurts the worst.

Easy Asian Chicken and Noodles
This should feed four:
3 boneless skinless chicken breasts, cubed
1 bunch of green onions, small slices
1 pkg of unprepared cole slaw
3 pkgs of chicken flavored ramen noodles
2 1/4 cups of water
soy or teriyaki (I use Kikkoman's)
Brown the chicken in a large wok. When nearly done, add the green onions. Transfer to a bowl when done and set aside. Put cole slaw in wok, stir about two minutes. You really don't want to cook it, just heat it. It's okay if it browns a little. When done, add it to the chicken mixture and set aside. Place water in the pan and two seasoning packages, bring to a boil. Add broken pieces of Ramen. Cook until tender and most of the water has cooked off. I usually stir it the whole time. Add the chicken/cole slaw mixture. Add soy or teriyaki to taste. I never measure this. Just, pour it in. Keep in mind that it is salty. So - - use how much you want. Mix it all up and stir for one to two minutes. Take the pan off of the burner and voila!
I hope I've explained that right. Remember, I'm no Pioneer Woman. Let me know how it turns out for you.

Productive Day!
I did all of the stuff I listed in the post below. Well, I got a couple of things that weren't on my grocery list. But it's done. I was rockin' out in HEB. I highly recommend shopping with your own music and earphones. I'm sure I got some laughs. I was practically dancing down the cereal aisle. When I got to the check out, the guy said, "What are you jammin' to?" I wanted to die twice when he had no idea who Quiet Riot is/was. Ugh. I told him I was gonna slug him if he didn't know who Aerosmith or Guns and Roses are. He said he knew them and that I must have an awesome playlist. That's right, young 'un. I do.
I picked the kids up and finished putting the non-cold things up. And - - I re-arranged the pantry. That's right. I'm a bad ass.
Then - - the doorbell rang. I always freak when the doorbell rings because I'm not even remotely interested in: a.) the LDS or JH faiths, b.) switching cable or electrical providers, or c.) buying over-priced crap from cute little Kindergartners. And don't judge me, I know you are thinking it, too. :-) So anyway, it was a man looking to trim hedges and do yardwork. Normally, Mr. B does this stuff around here. He was just saying yesterday how much he needed to do it. With that sinus surgery, and his wicked allergies, I knew he had no business being out there. And it needed to be done. So - - I got a quote from the guy. Done. I made an executive decision. I rarely do that. Mr. B doesn't like paying for anything that he can do himself. I totally get that. But this time - - he gets the break. The guy did a great job. Afterward, I had a very interesting coversation with him. He's another victim of this crappy economy. (He lost his job on an oil rig.) He was doing what he could to pay the bills. I respect that. I really, really respect that. As it turned out, he was also a fairly new Christian. The whole thing was just some really cool orchestration on God's part.
Mr. B wasn't even mad at me when he got home. I think he was pretty grateful that he wasn't going to have to do it.
I need to finish cleaning up from dinner and then prepare to fold laundry while I watch DWTS. I really out to just DVR it so I can skip through all of the fluff. But - - meh. And by the way, tonight's menu item was de-lish. It's a family favorite around here.
I'm done for the day. Unless something really crazy happens.
*kiss it, kiss it, smack it*

Monday Morning
It is so quiet in here.
No television on.
No children here.
Even the cats are outside.
The coffee is on.
*deep breath*
Life is good.
Okay, so here is what I'm up to. I need to be brief because before I know it, it will be time to pick the children up from their holding facility. I planned a menu for the week and I'm about to go to HEB to purchase items on my shopping list. My goal today is to *not* stray from the list. I can do it!
My buddy Steph recommended posting my menu over there on the right. So, why not? That way, if Mr. B wants to know what's for dinner, he can look it up. Plus, it just helps me with structure. I already think I'm totally ADD. So structure is good for me. She wanted the menu so that she can see what others are eating. It's so easy to get into a rut of eating the same thing over and over and over. This week is completely different from last week. Which should be nice. Now don't be too surprised if you do see some repeats from time to time. They like what they like around here. And I was always taught that if it ain't broke, don't fix it.
Alright. I'm not so on the ball that I've already had a shower. So that first. Like now. Then to the grocery store. Home to put the groceries away. Then the car wash to get the bird dookie off of the hood of my van.
Busy, busy, busy!!! I'll ty to check in this afternoon.

Hey Cricut Peeps
Look what Mr. B bought me today...
I wasn't sure he'd go for it. But he did.I listed the pros for him. (I didn't see *any* cons.)
He found a con. When he went with me in Michaels, he saw the price of the cartridges. *gasp* I assured him that I'd *never* paid full price for a cart. I don't think I have. He said, "Huh, you have 8 cartridges?" (By the way, he's good with numbers and knew automatically what 8 translated to in $$. Eeeek!) In my defense, my mom gave me one and one came with the Cricut.
I assured him that purchasing a juke box would prolong the life of the carts and the Cricut. He's a good man and let me part with one.
It holds six. So for now, I will have to pick my favorite six. No problem. I can do that and save some $$ to purchase a second one.
Life is good.
Friday, March 20
I got up at 7:30 this morning.
I know! Can you believe it? It's crazy, I tell you.
I was asleep before 11:00 last night. I think I was just emotionally drained. It felt good. Mr. B said that I snored and spewed a lot. I must have been *really* tired.
I'm doing some cleaning around the house today and then heading out late this afternoon for Brownwood. Mr. B is joining me tomorrow. We have a babysitter coming over for the day on Saturday. I'm so thankful that worked out!
Since a babysitter is coming over, I feel the urge to have my house predominantly presentable. That means: steaming the kitchen floor (check), completely clearing off the counters in the kitchen (check), cleaning the kids bathroom, cleaning my bathroom (check), finishing the laundry (check), dusting, vaccuming and cleaning out the litter box. So far - - I'm making pretty good progress.
I don't know if I'll post again before I leave. I don't think I'm going to take my laptop with me, either. Just my iPod and a book. My parents are driving today, so I get to chill in the backseat. I can't take a nap because it would totally jack my hair up. Maybe I should take a nap before we leave. Nah. That will never happen.
I hope you all have a blessed weekend. I'll try to post sometime Sunday.

How sweet is this?
This was a day or two before Mr. B got his bandages off. Cameron absolutely adores his Daddy. He wants to be with him all of the time and do everything he does. He wanted to have a band-aid just like Daddy's, too. I don't know if he did this on his own or if Mr. B did it for him. I think it's adorable, regardless.
Mr. B had his stitches and splints removed on Tuesday. He's doing very well. He's still having a little trouble sleeping. Lots of swelling and the pressure around his nose really gets him.
Aren't they cute?
Heaven is a prettier place today.
Beverly lost her battle with cancer. Please be in prayer for her family. Tom, her husband, her children and their families, Sam, Ben, Hilary and Joe and her sweet mother, Wanda.
Please also be in prayer for my other cousin, Marsha. I think she is still out of the country and will take this very hard.

Please pray for Tom and Beverly.
They called Hospice in to help make her comfortable.
My heart is just breaking. Beverly is the aunt that I never had. I absolutely adore her. My heart aches so much for her family. Please, please be in prayer for Tom. They have four grown children who are married and have children of their own. My aunt Wanda (Beverly's mom) needs our prayers, too.
I won't even pretend to understand God's plan. I just don't. It's not our place to understand.
*sigh*

Phrase I heard on TV tonight
It was on Brothers & Sisters.
Nora said, "There is no statute of limitations on needing your mother. Even when you are a mother."
So true. There are so many times I need my mom. I need her comfort, her words of advice, her encouragement, her correction, her companionship, her friendship, her nurturing, her protection, etc.. I will always need my mother. I am so grateful that I still have her and honored to call her one of my best friends.
I'm sorry this was out of the blue. The show just brought up a lot of emotions. Happy ones.
I truly am blessed.

Fun Day!
Today was so much fun. The kids and I went to church. Great sermon on worrying. Really. It was good. We came home, at lunch and then went to the park to meet up with some friends from GMBC from when Mr. B and I were first married. It was so much fun catching up with everyone.
The ironic part? The kids that Justin and Cameron played with the most were kids that live across the street and about four houses down. I don't know why we don't ever get together. They all played so well together.
There are several pictures from the day on my facebook page.
Here are a couple:

A little better.
I did the following:
*cleaned the countertops in the kitchen off
*washed the few dishes that were in the sink and then started the dishwasher
*picked up the kid's stuff that was on the floor of the living room
*straightened the couch cushions and folded the blankets
*fixed the kid's juice for in the morning (this helps my sleep later factor)
That's pretty much it. Enough to satisfy me. I haven't done any scrapping today. I plan on doing it tomorrow.

This house is a wreck.
So messy. I'm going to do one of my 15 minute challenges.
I'll be back and let you know what I got done.

I want...
Coffee
I'm going to go pour another cup. I just thought you all should know. Dunkin Donuts coffee, with half and half and sugar.
Carry on...

Brace Yourselves
I'm feeling extra post happy today.
Why?
Yoda is bored with the everyday ordinary drivel she is finding on the interwebs. She is calling on her peeps to blog more.
So - - I declare this day, Friday the 13th of March - - Yoda day. I shall blog several random thoughts today. My filter is on low - - so brace yourselves. Stay tuned.

E.R. - Don't read if you haven't watched tonight's episode!!
I SOBBED!!!!!
Anyone else? The scene that just rocked my foundation was the one with the organ donor being wheeled out of his room and into the O.R. It. Broke. My. Heart.
Why? It's just a show. Right?
Well, it is a reality. Organ donation. Someone has to die for others to live. What a final gift to give. You all are my witnesses. I *so* would want to do that. Please don't ever let me live as a vegetable. Save whatever I have that is salvageable and find a new home for it. I've got it on my driver's license.
Okay, back to the show.
Dr. Ross, Carol, Dr. Carter and Dr. Benton all in one show? Oh. My heart sang. I am so sad that there are only three episodes left. Those scenes with Dr. Benton and Dr. Carter - - loved it. It was *so* them. I love how they brought them back together. It was great.
I've got to go watch Survivor now. I DVR'd it. The Spurs were playing the Lakers when it was on. And no - - I don't want to talk about it. Tough loss.
I now have two weeks of CSI to catch up on. That's okay. I'm cool with that.
One more thing. Mr. B says he's going to work tomorrow. Can you freakin' believe it? I predict he won't make it all day. He better not. I feel sorry for the poor sap that walks into the restroom while he's flushing his nose with saline. Eeeeewwwwww! Seriously though, please pray for him. He's not good at being idle. And he tires quickly. He's doing very well. I just don't want him to do anything to jeopardize the work he's had done.
That's all. I'm off to watch Survivor now. I'll probably post again if it pisses me off. Otherwise, we'll chat tomorrow.

Post Happy
I'm sorry for my eleventy-billionth post today. But - - I have a question.
I bought some imitation crab meat today. It just looked yummy. I had some kind of "crab scampi" at Lin's the other day. And ever since, I have been craving it. It was cheap at Sam's and I couldn't resist.
So - - I'm looking for your favorite recipes. Cold or hot. Hook me up. My sister makes an awesome crab dip. And for the life of me, I can't remember what's in it. I'm thinking cream cheese and green onions. Aud - - is that all? Everyone else. Share with a hungry sister. Satisfy my craving. Please?

To my fellow hot-tubbers...
My "culture" came back today. Positive. I knew it. UTI. Good times. They are calling in an antibiotic for me. My tummy hurts just thinking about taking an antibiotic. Ugh.
And (praise God for the rain) but I have to leave my home to go pick up the medicine. I'm shooting for the drive thru pharmacy. I'm not getting out of my car. It's cold. It's raining. I shall remain in my jammies and do the crappy pharmacy. Meh.
So - - for those of you contemplating sitting in a disgusting, hot tub - - don't do it. It's a fertile breeding ground for bacteria. And for us girls, it doesn't have far to travel.
I know. TMI.

Yesterday - - A Beautiful Day
Yesterday was tough. For obvious reasons. I hate seeing anyone I love, in pain. I was nervous about anesthesia. But I was more nervous about the inevitable pain and discomfort after Mr. B's surgery. He did great.
The beautiful part of my day, you ask? Feeling beautiful. I don't feel this very often. I'm not begging for compliments or anything. It's just something I deal with. Maybe it's the whole Hollywood-skinny-glamour thing. I just know that more often than not, I don't feel beautiful.
Yesterday, on two separate instances, I felt beautiful. The first was in the afternoon. I'd gotten Mr. B home, settled in bed, fixed drinks, administered medication, etc. He looked up at me with his big, beautiful, blue eyes and pointed to his forehead. He said, "Will you kiss me right here?" His lips were out of the question because gauze covered his top lip. And - - we just didn't need anything that already hurt to get hurt more. I gave him a long smooch on the forehead. He looked right at me and said he loved me and thanks for taking such good care of him. I don't know why, but it made me feel beautiful.
Then, last night, the kids were on their makeshift bed for the night. (Mr. B's parents were in town and had taken over their bed.) The kids were restless, so I decided to lay down with them for a bit. Cam was staring at me and smiling. He then said, "Mommy, you so booty-full." He then proceeded to tell me that my eyes were booty-full as well as my teeth, my hair and my nose. I could see it in his eyes. He meant it. He felt it. I was the end-all, be-all to him. Justin quickly followed suit.
Both instances felt great. In one day, all of the boys in my house made me feel booty-full. Inside and out.
I love being the princess of this household.
Life is good.

The Surgery Went Well
And we are home. He is in pain, but making it. We just did our first saline flush. He said it didn't hurt. I'm sure he is pretty numb from the local. He said that even with all the bandaging, he can breathe through his nose again. He hasn't experienced that since he was an early teen.
I gotta go start dinner. And police the children. Oh joy.
I'll post some pictures later. I took some before's and one while he was in recovery.
Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers. Please keep them coming. God is good!

Just Stuff.
Okay - - the following things are on my mind. This might not make much sense to anyone. Nevertheless, here goes:
1. I am quite anxious about David's surgery in the morning. The thought of him hurting, at all, makes me tear up.
2. I'm also anxious because, well, it's surgery and anesthesia will be involved. Will he wake up okay? Will he feel sick? Just general anxiousness regarding all of that.
3. What are my kids going to think? Will they be careful around him? Will the bruising and some irritability scare them?
4. On top of all of this - - I have a UTI that was likely caused by sitting in a hot tub on Saturday. I knew better, but sat in it anyway. Now I'm on some kind of pill that makes my pee turn blue. Crazy. I've got a ton of water retention. It's in my hands, legs and feet. It hurts like crazy to bend any of them. I need this to go away soon.
5. I know that our Heavenly Father is in control. He is in total control of the events that will transpire over the next few days. I want Him to use me where He can.
So - - if you think about it - - please be in prayer for my husband and our family tomorrow.
Thank you for being such great friends to me.

Home again.
It's great to be here. I'm so happy.
I had a great weekend and I got lots done. I did a plethora of pages. Then I hit a wall with some wicked indigestion last night. It was some of the worst I've ever had. Stupid acid reflux. Tomato products and acid reflux - - not a good combo.
Mr. B and Cam left a short while ago to go look at washers and dryers at Lowe's. He thinks he found one that can be delivered TOMORROW!!!! That makes me *beyond* happy. You have NO idea. Not the same brand. I think this one is a Samsung. I don't care. Does it wash clothes? Will it be here soon? If yes to both, then we have a winner.
Okay, I need to go play with my kiddos. I have lots more to talk about tomorrow.
Enjoy your Sunday evening. I'm about to go play Luigi's Mansion with Justin. Love it!
(I really missed *all* of my boys.)

Fun Weekend!
I'm having a great time. Fun, fun, FUN!
But - - I miss my guys. Scrapbooking all of these pictures of them makes me want to see them so bad!!!
Please be praying for my dad's cousin, Beverly. The news is not good. MD Anderson have determined that they've done all they can. She's gone home. Please be in prayer for her and her family. They are all such beautiful people. Very, very special to us.
Everyone - - have a great Saturday.
I have a massage at 5:00. Oh yeah...

Retreating
I'm in Weatherford at my scrapbook retreat. Woo hoo!!! So far, it's been tons of fun. And we're just getting started.
I got a call from Mr. B a little while ago. Apparently there was a "problem" with our online order for the washer/dryer. Shut up. They said that the offer isn't available in our area. We are back to freaking square one. He was PO'd. He had talked to a rep and the order was confirmed. Now - - the freaking sale is over. They offered us a cheesy 5% off. I've got 5% of something for them. They can kiss 5% of my butt. They have no idea who they tangled with. They better make this right.
Dirty laundry.
Life is back to major suckage. Well, it will suck when I get home. Mom - - I'll be back with more laundry. Ugh.
Have a great weekend everyone.

Wednesday, March 4
You may want to be seated for this...
...Mr. B ordered a washer and dryer this afternoon w/pedestals.
*gasp*
I take it all back. He rocked it out this time.
We went and looked at Sears this morning. I picked a couple out that I liked. I really wanted the red - - but there was no justifying that extra expense.
We went with the LG. I can't remember much about them. Both have the steam feature. I understand that in the washer, that's good for pulling out stains. In the dryer, for wrinkles. Woo hoo! I'm thinking they will be here sometime next week.
Yay!!!!!

NOOOOOOOOOOO!
Can you imagine what might freak me out?

That's right. I am Mayor of Suckville right now. Our freakin' washer broke. Again. I can't remember when it broke the last time. I tried looking through some old posts but I couldn't find it. Remember my drama about going to the laundromat, it starting to hail while I was there, the college dude spraying his poop stain in his underwear with stain remover... Remember all of that?
It's broke again.
And the estimate to fix it is about $500 (parts and labor.)
I am freaking out. For three reasons:
1. I am leaving town Thursday morning. My day is packed enough as it is tomorrow. Now I need to do a few loads of laundry. I loaded the van with most of my scrapbook stuff today. So, there's one thing done. I still have a couple of things to add. But the hard part is done. It pays to prepare.
2. The last time, it took FOREVER to fix the washer. I'm thinking we went without one for about a month. I remember thinking that I would never take my washer for granted ever again. I did. Luckily, I was doing the last load when it broke. So - - we have clean clothes. But still...
3. Mr. B thinks we probably need to just buy a new one. This one requires bullets.

- Mr. B doesn't buy anything fast.
- Mr. B researches the heck out of anything before he purchases it.
- Mr. B then thinks about the research.
- Mr. B thinks some more about the research.
- Mr. B tells Mrs. B to go look and find something that might work for us.
- Mrs. B looks. Doesn't care too much. Picks something out.
- Mr. B researches that choice to the n'th degree.
- Mr. & Mrs. B have a functioning dryer. These things look nicer in pairs.
- Mrs. B gets frustrated when something spills on clothes and they can't be immediately put in the washer.
- Mrs. B ends up at the laundromat with crazy people.
J's Brush with Fame

Here's Yoda's little dude. He got to meet some of the Dallas Cowboy players and cheerleaders a couple of years ago at one of his doctor visits. Recognize her? Yep, it's Melissa from the Bachelor. Yoda and I think she'd have been better off sticking with J. I agree.
Ask Yoda about having her picture made with her nemesis T.O. She can't stand him, but, he still looked hot. So - - why not?
Unreality TV
I think that was *the* worst season of The Bachelor. Ever. It is over for me. I hope they end it. Reality TV? Please. *insert raspberry fart here*
A few observations:
1. Final Rose Ceremony, a formal dress and wearing your hair in a pony tail. Glamour Don't. Molly - - do something with your hair.
2. The whole idea of finding the love of your life on a television show is just dumb.
3. Mr. B & I think Jason is a total closet case. He is really in love with Chris Harrison.
4. I find Jason's sensitivity level a little - - off. Please. All the tears? He completely emasculated himself. I'm all for a man being sensitive. But the extreme tears? Waaaaaaahhhhhh...
Daytime drama might be a good option for him. Little girl.
5. Reality Steve seems to have been spot on. He just might be my new hero.
6. I am not conflicted at all with what to do tonight. I'm watching the Nip/Tuck finale.
7. ABC jumped the shark. Big time. They went totally Fonzie on us. Leather jacket, speed boat and bad body double.
8. I don't care who the new Bachelor/Bachelorette is. I'm D.O.N.E.

Sunday, March 1
*sniffle*
I just looked at pictures of my brother and his family. Way over there on the other side of the world.
And I cried.
I would love to go over there for a visit. I just don't see it happening anytime soon.
Time for bed...

Guarded
I just took my temp a little while ago, for the heck of it, didn't feel bad at all. No wonder, 97.9. Now *that's* more like normal for me. I am still planning on taking it easy.
I've been watching The Tudors all evening. I'm half way through season one. And just now getting sleepy. Season three starts in about a month. I have to catch up again. I didn't realize just how much I missed watching it the first time.
