More layouts...

My latest creation...

I took a bunch of extra wallets and spare pictures of Justin and made this two page layout.  Forgive my crappy scanning.  I'm not real good at that yet.  Our scanner isn't *quite* twelve inches long, so it cuts some of it off and I can't quite line it up yet.  I'll get better at it.  Until then, you get what you get.  :D

Fighting my inner hoarder...

Have you ever seen the show Hoarders?  It scares the ever livin' out of me.  I have serious panic attacks when I'm in the midst of chaos.  I fight it like crazy.  In preparation for my retreat, I'm discovering that I am a scrapbook supply hoarder.  That ends.  Now.  What I don't want anymore is going to the school for the teachers to use if they want.  The un-usable is going in the trash.  I am cleaning this crap up.  So. Much. Crap.  I really need to re-think all of this.  I am freaking out here.

This is my new favorite from Starbucks.  I'm on my second bag of it.  It's a seasonal flavor and I think about to be gone.  It is from Guatemala.  The name means "Almost Heaven."  No lie there.  Baby Bro, to answer your question, yes, it's a medium blend.  I LOVE it.  Sure, it stinks to pay $12.95 for a bag of coffee beans.  I figure it's cheaper brewing my own Starbucks than buying it from them everyday.  This stuff freshly ground - - *drool*  It smells so good.  Some friends gave me a Starbucks gift card for my birthday.  I used it to buy this.  :D  B definitely recommends!

I made a few changes.  So consider this the 2010 Laminated List.

6.  Shemar Moore

If you don't know who they are - - Google 'em.  Enjoy.

*fans self*

Gilles is back on Brothers and Sisters tonight.  Lord have mercy - - what a work of art that man is.  Time to finally re-do the list and laminate it.  Hmmmm.  Who to boot?  Riveting, I know.  I'll post it tomorrow.  You'll be on pins and needles until then I'm sure.

They're Home!

I was sound asleep in my bed when I heard the garage door open at 8:30 this morning.

Yeah.  I said/typed 8:30.

Mr. B said they'd done just about all they planned to, the boys had "cabin fever" and it was too cool to ride bikes and stuff already.  So, they decided to come on home.  They apparently did a number to the inside of the camper.  Mr. B is out there with the steam cleaner right now.  Apparently there are some grease stains on the couch cushions.  (Naughty little Cam.)  Mr. B wants to get it cleaned and put away as fast as possible so he'll have something left of his weekend.  I don't blame him.  It's supposed to be gross outside tomorrow.  Ah, the joys of living in West Texas.

I have my first of probably several loads of laundry in the washer right now.  Back to real life.  Lego Star Wars is being played in the living room.  Our house is back to normal.

Since they are here early, I'm going to have time to fix lunch for them.  I am trying another new recipe out of my newly acquired Taste of Home Busy Family Recipes.  We are trying the Mexican Casserole on p. 90.  Sounds yummy.

Have a beautiful Sunday.

Chick-Flick-A-Thon

First - - I'm ready for the boys to come home.  The quiet has been nice.  But I'm ready for them to come back.  They are having fun.  I talked to Cameron a little while ago and he got to feed a horse.  He was pretty excited.  Mr. B also let them ride in the backseat of the truck and not wear their seatbelts.  They thought that was pretty cool.  Of course, they never went more than ten mph.

So far I've watched:

Indecent Proposal
Twilight
Sex and the City - Season One, Episode One
10 Things I Hate About You - Heath Ledger - - *swoon*
The Juror
The Bridges of Madison County

I think tonight it's going to be Julie and Julia.  I'm not sure what else.  I'm tempted to watch the Bourne movies.  Jason Bourne.  Ahhhhh.  A Bourne-A-Thon.  Hotness.

Fun With Photoshop

I don't need to ever get Botox injections again.  I have Adobe Photoshop.  Buh-bye frown lines.  :D

A Weekend For the Boys...

Mr. B has gone to pick up the camper as I type this.  He and the boys are headed out for a fun-filled boys weekend at the local state park.  I've been told - - "No Girls.  Just Boys."  I am actually quite fine with this.  I know they will have a blast "male bonding."  It's one of the things that makes me sad about not having any girls.  The upside is - - I get a weekend alone.  Solitude is actually quite good for me.  Occasionally.  I know I get my retreat in a few weeks.  But there will be lots of other women there.  This will be "me" time.  My schedule.  And given that a lot of activity makes my foot swell up and hurt, I plan on spending my "me" time sitting on the couch with chick movies the whole weekend.  I've got tons of pictures to work on in Photoshop and then I need to upload them for print.  It will be nice having Mr. B's computer at my disposal while he's gone.  (I don't think I have Photoshop on mine.)  I plan on doing a little picking up and straightening after they leave.  I like for things to "appear" clean.  I already cleaned the boys bathroom so I feel like I'm good to go.

I am going to the church crop tonight.  I'm not taking much.  Just one bag of some things.  I don't want to mess with too much stuff.

I also have an article to write that I need to get out of the way before I leave for my trip.  This will be a great time to do it.

So - - even though it's a "Weekend For the Boys" I say - - Let the "Weekend of B" commence.  I am *certain* it will involve at least one trip to Starbucks!

Reality Check

Sometimes it's the little reminders to be grateful. I was headed back to work from my lunch break. I sat in the parking lot in my car fo...
