A trip to the movies...

This is how my day started...

That's right. One heck of a headache. It has diminished. A little. No thanks to the millionth slammed door around here. Why Cam thinks that is so funny is beyond me. But I'll tell you this - - if I had somewhere to put his and his brother's doors, I'd remove them. Today. I'm sick of the slamming. Sick of it. They are preschoolers. They don't need privacy. The knuckle-heads. Great big knuckle-heads.
The lights are bright. The sounds are loud. Nothing smells good.
Headaches suck.

Update for the stalkers
Y & R was boring.
Two hours until PNO.
I haven't done that load of laundry yet.
Cam is still a pain. He likes to open the fridge and drink directly out of the OJ container. Therefore, he spills. That will make for a third time this week the floor will need to be done.
Care for anymore details into my day?
This is B. Over and out.
It's Friday!!
It's a lot chillier today than it was yesterday.
Cam is a pain in the rump to take inside of *any* store.
Parent's Night Out is awesome. Tonight, from 6:00 - 10:00, we are "child-free." Woo-hoo!
I'm hungry.
I think candles are nice. One can never have too many of them. (The mister does not agree with me.)
Unplanned family excursions rock. (We took a walk down to the park last night. So fun!!)
March Madness sucks. I *loathe* college basketball. (Isn't that ironic?)
Sour cream that falls out of the grocery bag on Tuesday and is found in the trunk of the car on Friday is most likely not any good anymore. Just a guess. I'm not willing to test this one out.
Never, ever tell a lie. Which I don't. I learned this lesson as a child. It's much easier to tell the truth. Then you don't have to worry about keeping your story straight. I hate being lied to. I absolutely hate it. The truth isn't always easy. (After I get over the anger of being lied to, I find it somewhat comical watching someone get tripped up in their own lie. Is that kind of wicked of me?)
Oh - - I think my washer just *might* be okay. I'm going to test it out on a load of darks here in a bit.
The Spurs are in an epic battle for playoff position right now. It's exciting.
I believe that's enough for now. I'm going to go and do something about the hungry thing and maybe watch Y & R while I do it.
Ciao.

Shooting the bull with the Judge...
If you'll look at my previous post you'll see that everything on my list was crossed off. Yay me! Now, I can't take credit for the Sam's run. The mister did that one for me after work. My meds weren't ready when I was going to go by there. And the groceries one - - well, I forgot a few things. Meh. Just bacon. We don't need that until Saturday morning anyway. The other things we needed, Mr. B picked up at Sam's. So - - I'm sitting pretty.
Except - -
MY WASHER!!!!!!
I was finishing up the last load last night. So proud of myself. I opened up the washer to move that load into the dryer when I noticed *smoke* coming out of the drum and I smelled something electrical. You've *got* to be kidding me. I'd like to know who exactly I pissed off to have this perpetual dark cloud following me around. My washer? Again? No. No. NO!! If memory serves - - it was this time last year when my washer crapped out on me. In storm season. Remember the whole laundromat thing? The dude with the rump-rust stained boxers and the hail storm on the Sunday afternoon?
I'll tell you what, if it weren't for this kick-ass cup of coffee I'm drinking right now, I'd be tempted to drive my car straight into a pack of Maytag Repairmen. I'd find them. Surely they still exist. Remember the television commercials? The mister tells me that Maytag went out of business or something. Yeah. You think?
Oh. My. Gosh. If you had *any* idea exactly how many times I've had to freaking backspace because my stupid "k" didn't type.
Look out. I'm a "mommy on the edge..."

Today's to-do's:
Go to municipal court and handle my speeding ticket. Oh joy.Get my nails done. I really need a new set. This could potentially take forever. I don't have forever. I have three and a half hours to get ALL of my list done.I need to get groceries. More joy.I need to pick up prescriptions at Sam's. Not so bad. Just another stop.
I already dropped the children off at their holding facility for the day.
Ahhhh.... It's so quiet in here. I wish I had nothing to do today.
I'm wasting time.
I should have something to blog about after going to both traffic court and Wal-Mart in the same day. It should make for some good times.
later.

Okay. Who was eating syrup around the "k" on my keyboard? Fess up.
One of the kids perhaps? How convenient. Kids. With a "k."
How do you clean a laptop keyboard?

Addendum to previous post...
Number one - - I am shamed that the house was in that shape and needed that sort of cleaning. Everyone talks about how clean our house always is. It's surface clean. He went and deep down cleaned it.
Two - - how sad that this is what he did with his time away from us. I really wish he'd had some fun. I feel bad. I should have had it ready where he could have had some fun.
However - - he is a work-a-holic. A maniac. He doesn't have the art of lounging around down quite like I do.
I say all of this to tell you - - what shall I do whilst I am freaking out during this storm? I unpacked our bags and put everything away already. (That is so not me.) Now, I wait for my sleep meds to kick in and I shall go to sleep.
Quarter-sized hail. Stupid hail.
*yawn*
